Foxa and Beskow von Post - working together to breathe new life into exhaust fabrics

"Dead stock" is an unfortunate term for fabrics that are perfectly A quality, but easily end up in storage for one reason or another. Often, these discarded fabrics are small tails or batches left over from different projects. With a good partner, fabrics are given a new chance and a new life.

There is an old saying that one man's trash is another man's treasure. In this case, one man's scrap is the start of a new and sustainable designer garment.

Foxa Oy and the award-winning Swedish design studio Beskow von Post have found each other and joined forces. The collaboration promotes the circular economy and sustainability in the textile industry.

Beskow von Post's business idea is to give textile waste a new life in clothing and products, without forgetting functionality and aesthetics.

The cooperation between Foxa and Beskow von Post is based on the use of surplus materials from the textile industry, i.e. deadstock fabrics, and their processing into high-quality, long-lasting textile products.

Quality and sustainability in a circular economy

Foxa supplies Beskow von Post with high quality A grade deadstock fabrics that meet strict technical and sustainability requirements.

One concrete example of this cooperation is the new workwear collection by Hr Björkmans Entrémattori, designed by Beskow von Post using deadstock materials from Foxa.

The collection shows that circular design can be both practical and stylish, while making a statement on sustainability.

Each garment is equipped with a QR code that explains the origin of the materials and how they can be reused in the future.

Sustainability at the heart of business

The sustainability and long life cycle of fabrics are important values for Foxa. The use of surplus fabrics reduces waste and at the same time the carbon footprint of production.

The cooperation with Beskow von Post is an important step in finding new uses for waste fabrics and at the same time extending the life cycle of textiles.

Together, we can contribute to the circular economy by transforming surplus materials into valuable products designed for sustainable use.

As a result, "dead stock" deserves a whole new name, as it is very much viable and alive.
